Richard Pell

Richard Pell has been the firm's Chief Investment Officer since joining in 1995, Chief Executive Officer since 2007 and currently serves as a member of our board of directors. Mr. Pell continues to serve as Co-Portfolio Manager of the International Equity Strategy and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Total Return Bond Strategy. Mr. Pell joined the Julius Baer Group in 1995 subsequent to his tenure as Head of Global Portfolio Management with Bankers Trust Company, a firm he served for five years. Starting in 1988, Mr. Pell was employed by Mitchell Hutchins Institutional Investors where he served as Head of Corporate Bonds and Mortgage-Backed Securities.

Glen Wisher

Glen Wisher has been the firm’s President since 2007 and currently serves as a member of our board of directors. He joined the Julius Baer Group in 1995 as a fixed income portfolio manager in London. Mr. Wisher was appointed Head of Institutional Asset Management in the US in 2001 and Chief Executive Officer of Julius Baer Americas Inc. in 2004. Prior to joining the Julius Baer Group, Mr. Wisher worked at S.G. Warburg Co. Mr. Wisher also serves as Chairman of the board of managers of Artio Global Management LLC and serves on the board of directors of Artio Global Equity Fund, Inc. He is also a trustee of the Artio Global Investment Funds.

Francis Harte

Francis Harte has been the firm's Chief Financial Officer since July 2002. Since joining the Julius Baer Group in 2002, Mr. Harte has also served as Financial and Operations Principal from 2002 to 2006, and was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bank Julius Baer Co. Ltd. (New York Branch) from 2002 to 2005, and Treasurer and Financial and Operations Principal of GAM USA Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Prior to this, Mr. Harte acted as a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for the North American-based activities of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and, prior to that, Mr. Harte held positions at The First Boston Corporation and Deloitte, Haskins & Sells. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York.

Tony Williams

 

 

 

Tony Williams

Tony Williams has been our Chief Operating Officer since December 2007 and served as a member of our Board prior to the firm’s initial public offering. He joined as Chief Operating Officer of Artio Global Management LLC in 2003 and, in 2004, became the Head of Asset Management Americas for Artio Global Management LLC. Prior to that, Mr. Williams acted as Head of Cross Border Strategies at JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management and Chief Operating Officer at Fleming Asset Management in New York. Prior to this, Mr. Williams was Client Services Director at Fleming Asset Management, UK.

Riad Younes

 

 

Rudolph-Riad Younes, CFA

Rudolph-Riad Younes has been the firm's Head of International Equities since 2001. He started with the company in 1993 as a portfolio manager and has served as Co-Portfolio Manager of the International Equity Fund and International Equity Fund II since 1995. Prior to joining the Julius Baer Group, Mr. Younes was an Associate Director at Swiss Bank Corp. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Adam Spilka

 

 

 

Adam Spilka

Adam Spilka joined as the firm's General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 2008. From 2002, Mr. Spilka was Senior Vice President, Counsel and Assistant Secretary of AllianceBernstein L.P., where he was head of the Corporate, M&A and Securities Practice Group from 2003. He became Secretary of AllianceBernstein L.P. in 2004. Prior to 2002, Mr. Spilka served as Vice President and Counsel at the company now known as AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company. Mr. Spilka began his legal career in 1987 as a corporate associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP.
